Autism: simplified definition for the laymen.

According to Doctor E. Christian Gauderer, "the Autism is a severe, chronic, incapacitating disease, compromising the common development of a child and it is present tipically before the third year of life. It is characterized by  damaging and impairing the rhythm of the  psychoneurological, social and linguistic development. These children also show abnormal reactions to diverse sensations like listening, seeing, touching, feeling, balancing and degusting. The language is late or is not present. They communicate to other people, objects or events in  an unusual way, what makes us to believe that there is an organic compromising of the Central Nervous System."
There is no remarkable physical characteristics in an Autistic. However, because of their impaired abilities, the Autistics may have the empty expression of a deficient person.
