Volunteer Work 

AMA is a non-profit association created to cover a hole in the treatment of mental handicapped people in our country. Fifteen years ago the word 'autism' was not even known by the greater part of Brazilian people. 
In its condition of research and assisting the needy as well as those who can pay it, AMA lives a constant situation of collecting funds and asking for society's help. 
Everyone working at the AMA knows the meaning of their work and are proud of it. We would like not have to worry everyday about the budget to maintain a project we really believe in and know its significance for the country. But we will keep doing it as long as it is necessary, in order to provide dignity to autistic people in our city, state and country.
